As promised, I am back with the details of how our story played out. For those of you who missed my first post. Read now: One Fine Day – The beginning For those of you who are caught up on the beginning of our story, join me on the rest of the journey through memory lane leading up to our wedding. When we began dating in 2015, we never imagined we would be married for at least a few years to follow. Yet, somehow, we managed to pull off 3 weddings that year.
Wedding #1 was the private and intimate one that we got to enjoy with just one friend to give me away. She is still my husband’s first in-law 😀
Wedding #2 was a celebration with all the ‘friends-like-family’. Our unofficial officiant was actually ordained, so the wedding was as official as the first. 😛
Wedding #3 was what we call our dream wedding. It was just us, our families, extended families and the best team of photographers and videographers. I had my priorities set very early in life. I have always wanted to marry for love and I have dreamt of immortalizing those memories forever. I have followed One Fine Day and their work since they began to shoot weddings and have always been amazed by their work. Over time, they even shot a few of my friends’ weddings and every time I looked at the pictures, I imagined my wedding being captured by this team. Once it was decided that we are marrying in India, I wasted no time convincing my family that One Fine Day was the clear choice for this. 😛 In fact, I had an official pitch prepared which my dad appreciated. 😀
I did not want posed photos and forced smiles. I did not want anyone intruding on our wedding saying “hold that hand up a little higher” or “get out of the way, you are in my shot”. All I wanted was a 12-15 minute film and some candids that I can cherish forever and One Fine Day did not disappoint. You can see their captures of all the events on my Instagram feed.
When I contacted Rushi for wedding photography, I was sure that I wanted our wedding to be captured in the best way possible. I knew it was going to be special and I felt team One Fine Day would capture our moments best. What I did not know at the time was that we would fall head over heels in love with our team and those wedding memories would include new and lasting friendships. The team blended in like family and made our wedding more fun like friends. Today when I look at the pictures, I truly remember the moments and when I watch the video, I can tell that it has been made with love. I look back not only at the celebration, but also the time spent with few of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure to know. A huge shoutout to Bhavna, Sumit, Rajan, Regan, Manasa, Bhavini, Joshua, Sunny and the entire team who made this possible. You guys will remain our favorite forever.
To cover a few of the technical details that people look for in reviews, the team is punctual, patient and extremely pleasant to be around. They make sure to know your family and friends before the events begin so they can cover the most with their photography and videography. They capture moments & feelings and don’t stage anything. If you are camera shy, they know exactly how to make sure you ease up. They love what they do and it shows in their work.
I would recommend team One Fine Day to anyone who is looking for an amazing team to eternalize their moments.
