Living in a town like Bartlesville, movie nights mean pretty much everything to us. Yes, we wait for good movies and yes we watch em all. So imagine my delight when it was finally time for ‘Despicable Me 3’. Needless to say, I’m crazy about minions.
I dragged bae, kicking and screaming to the movie and it was actually super fun. He didn’t want to like it. He even tried hard not to laugh but the movie totally cracked him up. He walked out of the theater having thoroughly enjoyed himself. He even said his usual line “I don’t usually like animation movies, but this one was good”. He said that after watching The Secret Life of Pets, Zootopia and a number of other ones that he liked. He should really accept that he is into animation movies now.
Being a crazy minion lover, I thought this particular movie night needed a theme outfit. I really wanted to dress like a minion but realized I don’t own a yellow T-shirt (It’s on my list now). I did, however, end up accidentally dressing up in the spirit of July 4th. A little early, but still fun.
