Love

December brings joy

2017 has been a crazy year. It has flown past me at rapid speed. But yaayyy! It’s December again. There is something magical about December. People are joyous, selfless, kind and merry all around. Not to mention, this joy is infectious. If the entire year were like December, the world would be merry all year long. But, it feels like the best way to end a year and step into the next one.

PS: This photo is from last year because our pup hasn’t given us a chance to put the tree up yet this year.

This post is basically an exercise to be thankful for what I have at this beautiful time.

Diving right into it,

1.) Bailey – the love of our lives

After years of hoping that every gift I unwrap was a puppy, I am now a proud owner of the cutest little fluff ball ever. In fact, Catana Comics got it absolutely right. Click their name to see the meme version. He is growing ever so fast, but training as he grows so it is going to be easy to tie a ribbon on him and set him right by my Christmas tree this year just to live the dream. 😀

PS: Bailey stole my phone off the couch last night while we weren’t looking. The moment my husband spotted the phone in Bailey’s mouth, he froze and tightened his grip. Once bae advanced towards Bailey to tell him off and rescue my phone, he flung it across the room and ran like a rabbit. All this after breaking one phone and forcing me into buying a new one.

A bundle of joy alright. 😛 Here are a few pictures of my fur baby.

2.) The state of Washington

I have been in the US for over 6 years now and have always wished to live in a scenic place. The universe finally took the hint and brought me to Washington, one of the most beautiful states I know. I am thankful for the beauty of Washington. I am thankful for the dog-friendly nature of this beautiful state. I am also thankful for the opportunities it holds.

Unfortunately, my fur baby does not allow me to click pictures of the world so I have none to share at this time. Hopefully, he will grow out of it and I can share the beauty of this place with you soon. 🙂

3.) The one that pulls it all together for me – My Loving Husband

My life would not be what it is without the love I share with this man. He makes my dreams come true, while passionately chasing his own. He showers me with love and kindness every day. He keeps me sane. He makes me a better person. He brings out the best in me. He is everything. Enough said!
