Christmas in Branson, Missouri

I hail from a Hindu household, and I’ve seen way too many festivals celebrated over the span of a year. There’s Sankranti, Holi, Diwali, Dussehra, Ugadi and the list goes on. My family was never too big on celebrations. I remember the occasional poojas and fireworks once a year, but even that seemed to fade out as we grew up. Tripping on Oregon

I love road-trips! Nothing beats the joy of just loading the car up and taking off on a journey to explore the beauty of this world. Around this time last year, my husband began planning one to celebrate my birthday but he was stuck trying to pick a place for hours on end. Eventually, he decided to let my bucket list take over and guess what was on it, ‘VISIT A LIGHTHOUSE’. I am a hopeless romantic and find lighthouses adorable. The entire ambiance of a tower on a cliff, facing the ocean is just irresistible to me.
