“Aaahh is it raining again? My new shoes are gonna be ruined. My hair will be messy. Don’t even get me started on the pristine cream carpets in my car.” Yes, adulthood sucks in some ways.
There was a time when the sound of rain inspired the urge to run out and play. I have some beautiful memories of when my girls would come over and we would run up to the terrace just to dance in the rain in our pajamas. And then we grew up and life caught up and rain became ‘bad weather’. I still love rainy days but I have a different approach than when I was little.
Now I love cuddling up with a cup of coffee and a good read on rainy days. And if I could be in two places at the same time I would probably be outdoors soaking in the beautiful weather at the same time maybe with an umbrella though.
It rained all Sunday and I spent all day sitting at the window looking out and reminiscing. By evening, I couldn’t take it anymore so I dressed up and hit the park in my camo outfit.
I have never been a camo person. I always walk right past the camo stuff in any store. Until one day when my husband saw this outfit on a mannequin and just had to play dress up with me. This is not the first time he has dressed me in mannequin inspired outfits and I trust his eye so I always go with it.
